Our son loves cars, trucks and sticks. He shakes, smashes and throws everything he can get his hands on. I don’t know if this is a very boyish behavior, but friends and family tell me so.
My son also loves my hair dryer. When I blow dry my hair, he comes crawling with the biggest smile on his face. He closes his eyes and waits patiently for his turn. Afterwards he examines the hair dryer in detail. He also has a huge interest for my make up brushes and tries to brush everything around him.
This is an old topic but still quite interesting. Do we influence our children to behave in a certain way if they are boys or girls. Maybe we do, maybe we don’t. The only thing I know is that, I have never tried to convince my son to like my hair dryer or to use my make up brushes, that just comes naturally, as does the love for cars and the smashing, shaking and throwing.
